§2.6 · Shooting
Required in-game settings
Shot Timing: Shots and Layups. Shot Meter: Off. Get these two wrong and no auto-green can work.
01Purpose
The script times shots against the game's timing system. If the game is not set up to time shots the way the script expects, the values in this manual mean nothing. These two settings are the number one reason people think auto-green "isn't working".
02Settings
| Setting | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Shot Timing | Shots and Layups (required) | Anything else and the script cannot time shots. |
| Shot Meter | Off (required) | Meter on = narrower green window. |
| Shot Feedback | All Shots | You need early/late feedback to tune values. |
| Visual Cue | Jump or Set Point | Either works with the script. |
| Pro Stick | Shots and Dribbles (if using Dribble Moves) or Shots Only | Match it to whether you run Dribble Moves. |
| Controller deadzones | ~5% both sticks | Raise if you get drift. |
03Where to test
MyCourt offline timing differs from online. Test values in online MyCourt. yew's advice after each patch: validate in MyCourt, then Rec.
04Notes
- Recheck these settings as part of the patch-day workflow.
- Deadzone at ~5% is the starting point. Raise it only if the stick drifts.
- Auto-Green requires the left stick inside the centre — see 2.3.
