§2.4 · Shooting
Turbo Fades
When on, R2 + a fade uses the turbo hold windows (727–823 ms band) instead of the standing Auto-Green value.
01Purpose
A fade taken with turbo held has a different release than a standing shot. Turbo Fades tells the script to use a separate hold window for those shots instead of your standing Auto-Green value.
02Control
- Trigger
- Hold R2 and take a fade — Left Fade (R2 + tap L1) or Right Fade (R2 + R3)
- Menu page
- Turbo Fades (page 4), D-pad Up/Down toggles On/Off
03Range / Default
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| States | On / Off |
| Default | Off |
| Turbo hold band | 727–823 ms |
| yew's Sept 3 setting | Not listed — check the current value in the mod menu |
04Adjustment
There is no millisecond value on this page; Up/Down toggles it. The hold band is fixed in the build. Adjust the Left Fade and Right Fade pages for the non-turbo fade values.
05Notes
- With Button Rhythm on, the rhythm sweep runs ~18% slower on turbo fades. That is automatic.
- Insta-Stop can cancel fades. If fades die mid-animation, turn Insta-Stop off or switch it to Left-Trigger mode.
- Fade pages: 3.1 Left Fade, 3.2 Right Fade.
